Through communication and branding activities, cultural and educational cooperation and civil society initiatives, they are seeking to strengthen their international reputation and defend their trade, tourism and other national interests. What are the recent developments and latest trends in this field? What is the potential for regions and cities, and for the EU as a whole? What is the role of government communicators in this domain?
